How are prizes claimed?

Claiming your prize with Silver State Lottery is secure, straightforward, and fully compliant with Nevada charitable gaming regulations. All winnings are tied directly to your verified user account and disbursed through a secure, auditable process.

1. Real-Time Winner Notification
If your ticket matches a winning number, you will be:

Instantly notified via your user dashboard

Sent a secure email notification with prize details and next steps

Provided a timestamped, digital record of your winning entry



2. Identity & Eligibility Reconfirmation
To prevent fraud and ensure proper disbursement, all winners—regardless of prize amount—must reconfirm:

Identity (matching original KYC documents)

Age (must still meet the 18+ requirement)

Residency/location at the time of purchase

This protects both the integrity of the draw and your rightful claim.



3. Tax Form Submission (if applicable)
For prizes exceeding $600, federal tax regulations require us to collect and file an IRS Form W-9 or W-8BEN (for non-U.S. residents). Winners will be asked to:
